My sister started a "Biggest Winner" weight loss challenge for my friends/family to lose weight before her wedding on 7/2/10. I lost 20 pounds from Jan-June this year and just gained 1 or 2 pounds back this summer. I'm hoping to lose another 15 pounds by the time of her wedding! (I'm maid of honor, so I have to look great, right?)

I'm really excited to start using MFP again and hope I'm able to lose these last 15 pounds! If anyone has any advice on how to lose the last stubborn pounds I'd much appreciate it! I hear its much harder but it's been about 6 years since I've been at my desired weight.

Thanks in advance! Good luck everyone...especially with the holidays coming up!

I feel that even though the holidays are coming up that I'll manage to still stay in my calorie range. Good luck to losing those last 15 lbs and congrats on the 18 you've already lost.

I'm in the same boat as you, lost 40 lbs earlier this year then took a break when summer rolled around. Put on 5 lbs (muscle) since then, but now I want to lose another 20-25 lbs before I leave for basic in january.

Try to clean up your diet as much as possible by cutting out as much processed food and refined sugar as possible. Shoot for an hour of cardio a day 5 days out of the week and take the other 2 to recoup, and zigzag your calorie intake from week to week to keep your matabolism up.

    Best of luck :)

Great advice...thanks agarlits! I get a free gym membership for working at the local university so I'm super excited about that. (apparently, it's state of the art!) Good luck to you too!

Youre very lucky, I wish I had a free membership somewhere but like most other people I have to pay for mine :(
