HI Guys! Yesterday we had a pool party with family and I spent 30 minutes racing against my 12 year old cousin by swimming laps in different styles back and forth. Usually, I would skip the idea all together or be huffing and puffing my way after each lap from trying to swim and maybe beat her, but this time I suggested we race. Yesterday I managed to swim every lap, stopping to catch my breath only when she did, and this time I WON, slowing down only at the end to let her have the ultimate victory. It feels amazing to be able to keep up with kids who are full of energy! I'm really proud of myself and excited to know that I really am working to a healthier me!

Nice job! That is one of my big goals. Not necessarily swimming, but to be able to keep up with the kids on the soccer field, in ring, etc. Again, great job! Congrats.

Thank you guys so much! It was amazing to just enjoy her triumph and see how happy she was racing and "beating" me instead of me wasting my time trying to catch my breath and missing out on her joy <3
