Is anyone familiar with CLA and L-Carnitine?

I've been using CLA off and on for over a year and I just began using L-Carnitine last week. I did some research and found that both supplements are very useful in helping your body loss and burn fat!

CLA helps your body rid itself of body fat (I've noticed it helped me lose belly fat) and L-Carnitine helps your body burn off stored fat by converting it to energy, so when used together they're very effective!

Just a tool that I thought you guys might be interested in.

Have a great day!!

I had some success with CLA but I wouldn't want to take it forever, too many unknowns.

It does help with belly fat for me, quite dramatically when combined with 'eating right'.

No substitution for decent nutrition and exercise but an interesting experiment anyway :)

Great info! Thanks for sharing. I've heard of both but never used either! But I may just have to give it a try now!

I agree with the CLA. I used to have a B shaped belly (fat above the belly button too so it looked like a capital B), and its mostly gone. I got the CLA about a month and half ago. Some days I forget to take it, but I still noticed a result. But once I'm done with this bottle, I will take it again when I start my next round of P90X in Sept. I should finish this bottle at the end of the month.

CLA is ineffective if taken in less than 3 grams a day according to peer reviewed study. So for most that I've seen, you should be taking 5-7 caps a day instead of 3 which is recommended by the sellers.

This. And I'd add that they're both just supplements...they might get ya there a few months earlier in the long run, but definitely not a necessity. I've tried both....personally I'd just save the money.

And this. Most supplements will only attribute 1% to your total weight loss. If you think cost factor here, if you lost 4lbs in a month and .4 of 1lb was attributed to supplements, was it worth the $$$ you spent?
