My favorite breakfast these days:

1/2 cup unsweetened almond/coconut milk
1/2 - 1 cup cold water
1 cup strawberries
1 cup cherries
2 scoops sweet cream protein powder
Swirl of dark chocolate syrup (1 tsp)

I freeze the berries the night before. Blend the liquids and berries first, then add protein powder last on low. Top with dark chocolate syrup (optional)

Approx. 280 calories, 16 g protein, 3.5 g fat
Without chocolate: 230 calories, 16 g protein, 3.5 g fat

I never liked the way protein powder tasted but the Body by Vi powder actually tastes good. I don't promote or sell the products, I just like them! :flowerforyou:

I totally agree on the ViSalus shake mix! It does taste great! I have nothing to compare it to because I've never had protein shakes prior to this! I keep my shakes pretty simple, so I'm not adding more calories to it! I usually add fresh fruit, i.e. bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and now that they are in season, mangos! Yummy! I've also tried the shake mixed with almond milk (sweet or unsweetened) and one package of Taster's Choice Hazelnut instant coffee, but I've yet to try it with chocolate syrup! Great recipe!

This sounds great! Btw, what is coconut extract??

I'm going to try this for lunch today as I have pineapple and everything but coconut extract. Maybe I'll substitute some coconut milk.
