Kind of new

Hi, I'm Tabi. I've been a member of MFP for almost a year, but I somehow lost motivation to come on here and track everything so I'm basically new here. I've started and given up a few times. Since the last time I checked in, it shows a weight gain of 2lbs, but that's not really the case. My weight has gone up and down up and down. I recently lost 10lbs which brought me down to 187. That's two pounds more than my last check-in in I think August of last year.

I am completely sick of the gain/lose nonsense, and I'm ready to change things for good. Not just temporary crap changes that I always ditch after a month or so. I am currently (and I'm counting the 10lbs heavier I was a month ago) the fattest I've ever been not counting being pregnant.

I'm looking to give and receive support from people with similar goals. I'm 27 years old next week, and I currently weigh 187 lbs, and would like to lose 40 lbs. I'd REALLY like to lose that 40lbs by the end of the year, but I'm not sure how realistic that is for me.
