    Poochka
    It that female part located right under the "pooch". I don't know how I came up with that, but the hubs and I have been refererring to that part of the anotomy as the Poochka for years.

    My BF & I have had a running (playful) argument as to which sounds better as a potential plural for the word "Asparagus"

    1) Asparaguses
    2) Asparagi


    I like to call it asparagoose. Would that make the plural asparageese? :wink:

    Well, it's not exactly a made-up word; it is a portmanteau. A portmanteau is a combination of two or more words or morphemes to create a new word. In fact, the word portmanteau is itself is a portmanteau, from porte (to carry) and manteau (cloak). This word was invented by Lewis Carroll.

    Portmanteau is probably my favorite portmanteau.

    The one I use all the time with my kids is 'Goofmanot' It's just a way of calling them little spazzes that are goofy. It just rolls off the tongue...

    I have several others but I keep them to myself ha ha LOL
