coors light confusion

hi there just wondered if any1 could shed any light on why cans of coors light are 4.5% alcohol yet the bottles are 4% ? so what is the draft ? lol very cunfusing x:huh:

    Coors light is 4.2% and regular Coors is 5%. This is true of most of the major crap beers and their light counterparts (Bud, Miller, etc). Never seen or heard of a 4.5% or 4% version. Maybe a state restriction on ABV limits or something odd like that?

    Where are you getting those %s from? The bottles and cans or the MFP database?

    I've heard that back when they used to sell 3.2% alc. beer to people aged 18-21, that it was all from the same vat, just the lower % was taken from the bottom (or top), where there was typically a lower alcohol %, or something. I have no idea if it's true. I think they're all just estimates, though, so it could be.
