I'll throw this in. Canada, The UK, Germany, and Japan all spend less per capita on healthcare that the US, and have greater life expectancy than the US.0 -

Yeah... if you can conclude that Al Gore is smart... There was a Meteorology professor at the school I went to have his Senior level students refute "facts" from his little propaganda piece... by the way, this same professor works with the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)... the same propaganda piece that got him his Nobel Prize... they also give the Peace prize to people that haven't done anything yet, just on mere speculation alone... Yeah, don't have much respect for them or their prize winners... I have more faith in Jon Stewart and Stephan Colbert and their smarts, than anyone the Nobel committee comes up with.0 -

Keynesianism is more trickle down and trickle up than reagonomics, of which no I am not a fan. Gee, lets do as Krugman says and dump tons of made up artificial "money" on the banks and pray that it reaches everyone and stimulates even though stimulus has NEVER worked once. in world history. No, I am a follower of Austrian economics. And yes, I used an ad hominem - Krugman is an obvious nutjob. nobody outside of his small circle of dumb Keynesian hacks has any respect for that shell of a man.
And you must not have researched Krugman's nobel winning work. His international trade studies are extremely specific and have truly little to do with current American problems and NOTHING to do with stimulus policies (which is Krugmans main blogging topic)
Krugman is one of the prime culprits of the current mess. It was HIS advice and policies that pushed decision makers and the Fed to ease credit drastically and spur housing prices post 9/11. Complete disaster. EVERY one of his recommendations creates boom/bust cycles, it is inherent to neo-keynesianism.0 -
