Week 1 July 22 - 300.4 down 2.6 I'll take it!
Week 2 July 29 – 300.4 No loss but after camping last weekend I’m surprised I didn’t gain. Hopefully next week will show a loss.
Week 3 August 5 - 299.6 -.8 lost really been struggling. Still trying though.
Week 4 August 12 – 296 -3.6 woohoo!!!!!
Week 5 August 19 – 293.8 -2.2 Yeah! I didn’t blow it on my camping trip last weekend.
Week 6 August 26 – 292.3 -1.5 Woo hoo! Might make it to my goal next week! I sure hope so! Total of 10.7 lost since we started.
Week 7 September 2 Labor Day is Monday - hope to be @ 290 by today. 291.4 lost .9 this week and didn’t make my goal Oh well, there’s always next week.
Week 8 September 9 – 287.2 4.2 lost Woo hoo! I’m only a few days late but I’m definitely below 290 now.

ok so since i am starting this week i am going to put my starting weight up of 159.5....im a little disappointed in myself that i havent lost anything in the last couple of weeks but i am hoping to turn everything around and do better....i just have a hard time getting motivated after work. my husband is in iraq and comes home for 2 weeks in februrary so i am really trying to suprise him with a "transformed" happier, healthier, thinner me ...hopefully next week i see that number go down0

Hello all. Great job this week everyone. Congrats to those who lost this week. I am so glad to see everyone in this group has such a positive attitude. I did a good job with my exercise this week. I worked out about 4 or 5 time during the past week. This is a huge accomplishment for me since I have had a lot of trouble with motivating myself to workout. I also started the Couch 2 5k program this week. I realized that I am not in good enough shape to follow the program as it is laid out. It will probably take me about 2 or 3 prelimenary weeks before I am ready to start the following the program to the letter. I have also committed to do a race on November 20 with my mom and a family friend. Anyway, I lost a pound in the past week, but I am going to need to step it up a bit if I am going to make my goal weight. I am aiming to lose 2 pounds by next week to play a bit of catch up.

Welcome! Seeing your husband is definitely amazing motivation! I also have a really hard time getting with it and working out after work. I have no energy and it feels like my legs are so heavy :ohwell: . So I've been either waking up an hour earlier (and I'm NOT a morning person) or working out after dinner, which also keeps me from snacking! We can do it!!!0 -

On the C5K, I would do it how it is laid out, but just do week 1 for a couple of weeks then go to week 2 and do that week a couple of times and so on. I would not modify it. It is like any other program, they lay it out that way because it works. That is great that you are doing it. I am currently on week 6 and am really excited about my results so far. Week 4 August 12 174.8 A little better but not what I had hoped for.
Week 5 August 19 174 surprising with all the junk I ate this weekend.
Week 6 August 26 172.6 Very acceptable!
Week 7 September 2 175.6 Ate way too much junk!
Week 8 September 9 173.7 filling up with fiber helps!
Week 9 September 16 178 I definitely didn't get better this week!!

Well I have to say, not to be negative, but I am only down 11 lbs in 10 weeks. I should be losing 2 lbs a week! I know I will get there, I just wish it was less daunting.

Week 6 August 26 -168.2 (if I lose 1.2 in the next 5 days I hit my first mini goal)

Week 7 August 26 185...up one back to where I started and getting a bit frustrated here. I need to make
sure to log everything. I was really hoping to be out of the 180's by now!

Week 9 September 9 185 (Hopefully water weight because yesterday I was at 183..no way 2 pounds in
one day especially when I worked out for over 1000 calories burned yesterday

Week 11 September 23 185 Not a clue why I am up 3
I am so tired playing around with 185. I have been at the weight since March. I am doing great with working out, but the eating is still not where I want it.
You might need to get more strict with your food choices. I know it is hard, but you can do it. Also, you might switch up your workouts a little. Your body might be needing a change from the normal. :bigsmile:0
