Strength Training

I am brand new to MFP and may not be doing something correctly but I am wondering why time/calories spent Strength Training does not get deducted from my daily /weekly exercise goals and more importantly :drinker: does not earn back calories in the Food Diary calcuation like Cardio does?? What am I missing?

The strength training log is for tracking reps and weight. If you want calorie credit you need to look for "strength training" under cardio. Be aware though that the burn it gives you will likely be a pretty high estimate. I don't log my strength training calories because it doesn't get my heart rate to where I feel like it's worth trying to log.0

Makes sense. Thanks for responding.
I do the same reps and weights for my arms and leg workouts so tracking them on MFP really isn't that helpful for me I guess.0
