Random "hot flash" type feeling from exercise?

So I am at the office (which is always freezing even though Chicago has been having a nightmare of a summer this year) and all of a sudden I feel this feeling of clamminess, start to sweat from my armpits and feel like my legs are clammy too. It lasted for a few seconds and went away, and then this has happened several times just sitting at my desk. I had to turn the overhead fans on!
Yesterday, I worked out like a crazy person- I ran 5 miles and did about a 1/2 hour of strength training as well. Could this hot flash type thing be from that? Is that a sign of my metabolism speeding up, my muscles recovering, or what? I usually work out almost every day and often do crazy workouts (burned 1000+ calories) but I have never had this feeling so far.
