Morning my fellow Canucks!

I couldn't find this weeks thread so I started a new one... stepped on the scale this morning and it said 210.3lbs ~ so that's a loss of 2.7lbs from last week. :noway: I know that last weeks weigh-in was high due to alot of water retention so I'm not that surprised to see a lower number this week.

I think this will be my 'final' weigh-in (at least for a while) since I'm no longer trying to loose weight... haven't been for a while now. Truth be told, DH and I are expecting our first baby!!! :smooched:

I'm still going to participate in the challenges, and check in but right now my goal is to maintain a healthy weight and not gain too much during my pregnancy, which will be tough, so I'll need the support.

 All my Crazy Canucks!!

P.S. Jay... today the baby is the size of a small plum...

    Congrats Tasha:heart:

Great work to everyone who took part in last week's challenge, it was great to see what everyone was able to accomplish.

With regard to my weight this week, it is unchanged but I am okay with this, next week will be different, 144 pounds.
  • Ya good to hear baby is getting bigger!!!! Can't wait, already thinking of what to buy him or her!

Well I totally forgot it was Wednesday until I got to work, so I don't know what my weight is today  I did on the weekend and it was still the same, so next week i will have to remember. I managed to do about 5 miles all week, not bad only 2 miles short of a mile/day! Keep up the good work everyone:drinker:

sorry i did weigh in yesterday....normally I don't forget. Weigh in up 2 pounds- not going to change ticker because I just started a weigh lifting program- (day 8) staying within calories so I am assuming muscle weighs more then fat. Best of luck to everyone.

    Go Canada GO!!!

    198.5 today.
Working shift work, midnight shift spec. really screws up your body clock.

I notice pants/belt are roomier and starting to see a little definition in my arms.
Also starting to do a 50-30-20 (P/C/F). Trying to get my 1g/1lb of protein in daily.

    Rant.
I know others have had problems with scales. Well my OH had a scale that we have been using, sometimes it doesn't like to turn on, but it has worked. I also had a scale I bought previously and wasn't being used, but since the other one has stopped working more often, I brought my scale up to the bathroom.
So for giggles, I thought I would jump on both to see any difference.
Scales were ~ 4 lbs difference.
Ok, no big deal, as long as they were always 4 lbs different.

After I woke up, etc, I tried weighing again. Scales were lower, but also with in 1/2 lb of each other.

    Go figure.

Hey guys, sorry results arent up yet. i just havent had the time yesturday to get them done, my mom, sister, brother and sister in law all were over last night. havent seen my sister for about a year so it was nice to visit with her. and my sister in law is expecting, due in november so i wanted to spend time with her too. i will get to the results after work today.

I should say what the challenge is tho: On the biggest loser their challenge was to lose as a team, 150 pounds. well, we arent going to go that extreme but I think a good amount for our small team is to lose at lease one pound each(seeing that i dont know how many people will weigh in next week). so lets check our diets and get movin to lose at least one pound each!!! Get goin Canadians!!!!!!

    Here are the results Canadians!!!
Congrats to TashaS aka BabyMamma   for being the biggest loser of the week!!!

    TashaS 2.7lbs. 1.28%
    Sjmay 1.2lbs. 0.75%
    tttthumper 0.5lbs. 0.25%

    KrystleD Maintained Weight
    Madmama Maintained Weight

    Jay_83 +1.7lbs. +1.19%
    Cyndi +2.0lbs. +1.34%

So if all 7 of us weigh in next week, lets try to lose a total of 7 lbs.

I know its not very helpful, but I want to go by the BL show and thats what they had. Hopefully theres something more helpful for next week.

I had learned some tips from the show:
    1. premake meals for the week so they are healthy and quick (they were promoting ziploc)
    2. a good portion for meat is 3-4 onz.
    3. ways of cooking without oil- bake, poach, steam, grill(non-stick) and broil
4.know that even if you order a cesar salad at a restaurant calories are generally 1010 calories!!!!
    5. You can substitute 50% of pasta with vegetables (in a pasta dish)
    6. there are 747 calories in a three refills of a 16 onz pop.
    7. a dessert less than 150 calories- cup of fresh raspberries with melted dark chocolate dipping sauce
    8. Two reason why its important to have proteins in your snacks-makes you feel fuller, more fuel for your muscles
    9. a nice snack/dessert- grilled pineapple (mmmmmmmm)
Lets see if that helps some of us out this week. I'll try to put more tips on each week from the show.

Good luck this week Canadians!! Lets try to get these 7 pounds off!!!:drinker:
  • Hey all, sorry I have been MIA for the past few weeks, started this new job and it has really messed up my routine, I have had time for NOTHING!!! I have started my second round of P90X and still trying to get my work outs in each day, but still trying to get into a routine of getting everyone everywhere they need to be (my kids) and get housework done, etc. etc. Hopefully this week will go better.
