Caloric Intake

Hi All,

I am relatively new to MFP but am in awe of so many people, their determination and success stories. I have tried to read a lot of information here and have also received some very good advice through Dan. However, I am still not getting over the mental block of eating the correct amt of calories. here are my stats:

Age- 42
Height - 5 feet
Weight - Between 99-98lbs ( now before everyone jumps in and says that I am grossly underweight....I REALLY AM NOT!!!) One day when I will pick up the courage I will post some pictures.
BF% - 28.9% ( ashamed:-( )
BMR ( per fat2fitradio) - Katch-McArdle - 1047: TDEE: 1758 (moderately active)
BMR ( per IF Calculator) - 1061 - TDEE- 1645 ( moderately active)

My exercise routine and calorie burn ( per HRM)
Intense cardio/applied resistance - 3 time/week (similar to insanity) - ~400 calories
Cross Fit - 2 times / week - between 270-300 calories - On these days sometimes I also do cardio in the mornings-~217 calories
Hike - 1 times per week- ~420 calories

Mo goal is to bring down my BF to 24%-25%. I have been trying to eat right but get confused on what to do. According to different posts, I should eat TDEE-15% so that puts me around 1494 calories (per Fat2Fit) and 1398 calories per IF calculator. So here is the question....If I eat around 1400-1450 calories/day and exercise calories are ~400, then the net intake is very close to the BMR. If I increase to eat more then I am close to my maintenance and may actually gain weight!

What should I do????????

Tdee INCLUDES your exercise calories (you stated moderately active)
Eating as suggested will likely give you results at a moderate and safe pace

Thank you for your feedback. Most appreciated! I may have added to the confusion by stating the exercise calories. So, I just eat at my TDEE without taking a 15% reduction?
