I would break my computer, and get angry at having to fix it. Figured I might well get paid for that kind of stuff.
  • Currently I have no career. I am going to school for game design at the moment. But I plan on going back for anthropology or natural science after wards. I mainly go to college when I can for personal interest instead of career focus. I would like to write and draw a graphic novel some time in the future.

But at the moment I am a computer repair tech who can't get a real job so I work at whole foods(The non computer job of whole foods)

I'm not in the job I want right now because I'm still in school (and I have a LONG way to go yet). But the job I'm aiming for not many people have the stomach for. I know I can handle it and I find the subject extremely interesting.

    ditto

Well, I joined the Air Force because I was sick of wasting my time and living with my parents while I was going to college. As for my job within the Air Force, I did so well on the aptitude tests that it basically picked me. All I really had to say was, "uhh yeah that sounds pretty awesome, I'll do it."

My dad is the reason I do what I do today. He started his life in the entertainment industry at age18. Started as a camera man in television moving up into movies. Then took time away from that and got into the music business. He's been a screenwriter, re-writer, a cameraman, a tour manger, a drummer, live sound engineer, stage manager, production manager, production assistant, sound stage guy, special effects and plenty of other things. I spent my time between his place and my moms, and somehow being around musicians, actors, the Oscars, Grammy's and traveling was a lot more fun and interesting and totally more exciting then going to company picnics with with my mom in the summer, who ran a huge trucking company as their HR director in charge of 1300 employees, their restaurant and a tire center lol.I quit school with my dads permission and went on my first tour at age 15 with Def Leppard and I have never looked back. I work as a personal assistant. But my dream job is and always has been to be a live sound engineer. I always wanted to be an opera singer too and have family on Broadway, but never had the balls to get up there and do it. The second people started telling me I had a good voice and making a big deal about it I did the complete opposite and clammed up and never sang in front of anyone ever again.

    I work at 3 different jobs/hobbies
    1) I always liked to do peoples hair, makeup, and play "dressup" growing up, so knew I had to go into something to make people physically feel better about themselves, so became a hairstylist....
    2) I used to be a dancer, and realizing how much of a workout pole dancing is, I decided I'd teach a class, so I do...
    3) I did some promotional photography work with a few musicians and amps/guitar companies, loved it, and do some modeling here and there (want to explore this even further)
  • I would love to be a RN, even though I am ok at medical stuff, I do not think that I am smart enough to go through school for it.
However, I do have a talent for dead bodies. I love forensics, and csi. So I am taking an online course for it.
  • God slapped me in the face with it!! The clouds opened up and this thundering voice resonates throughout the surrounding mountains and states, " Yoooou are too stupid to hold a desk job but you are built like a weak man and can hold your breath for ages...you will be a rescue diiiiver" (all of this is in a deep godly voice) and I felt like peeing my wet suit and said "yea God? Ya really think so??" to which he replied "Uuuhhhh yea?? I am the creator!!....dumbass"

I kind of fell into it. I was working in the office at a car dealership when a coworker was telling me about an agency that delt with the care of adults with developemental/physical disabilities that needed more caring staff. Knowing that I have a son with developemental disabilities she thought that I would be perfect to help with other's. Twenty years later I'm still doing this and love my job.

LOTS of dr's and nurse's (even a phlebotomist) in the family but I'm the only one in Pharmacy. Love taking care of people and helping but there's no way I'd get paid enough to wipe a stranger's bottom, lol

I decided as a lil girl that I want to be Massage Therapist. My mom was a single mom putting herself through school and worked 2 jobs. She would come home exhausted and sore and I would rub her back and feet. I just had a touch even then. I LOVE what I do and helping other people. Now if I can just figure out how to do it to myself I'd be a happy woman. Lol

Fell into it, being poorly educated I had to make the best out of whatever situation I found myself in. In my late 20's, I found myself as a security guard at a hospital. Then I took a little more training and found myself as a security officer at diamond mines. Then one day the warden called me from the correctional center and asked if I would like to work for them. The rest is history, 11 years in and doing well, making a pretty decent living.

Painting picked me. I tried so many other things in college and in life because I knew being an artist leads pretty much nowhere, but art is my only natural talent so I gave in eventually.
