Sedentary TDEE plus exercise calories?

Would EM2WL still work if I ate at 15-20% less than my TDEE at completely sedentary level.. and then ate back my exercise calories? I ask this because I haven't gotten onto much of an exercise schedule. If I'm feeling sick (which is a lot lately), I don't exercise. After dealing with exercise bulimia, I can't risk pushing myself like I used to -- otherwise I might as well be purging.

That works, but I would suggest eating 75% of your exercise cals unless you're using a HRM or similar to calculate your burn.0

Don't know, are you sedentary (excluding exercise)? I know I am sedentary, I sit at m desk all day, my only movement is to the coffee machine or water cooler. I set my activity level to sedentary and log/eat my calories from workouts (well, I eat some of them at least.)
On the other hand, if I was a landscaper working all day long I'd be nuts to set my activity level to sedentary! As I view it, activity level should match you daily non-exercise burn. Then you can add in the planned "formal" exercise as you do it.0
