ok so last night was the first time i ever watched biggest loser. i liked the show but i can't stop thinking about this.... if they are loosing 10lbs or even more like 19lbs a week.... is that really healthy??

At 400 pounds yea!!! All those people on there are obese and even when they are losing 15-19 pounds a week they still have so much more to go!!! Plus they are getting check ups daily with doctors and their trainer's are making sure it's only from eating healthy and working out... Alot of the weight is water weight at first and then you'll see later in the show how their bodies start to take shape and you can really notice them changing.....0

It is okay for them, and like tammie said it's mostly water. These people, I hate to judge, where probably living on junk/fast food which is LOADED with sodium, which so nicely helps people to retain water, so eating better (lower sodium) is great for them to get their bodies shrinking!0
