I don't know what it is anymore. eating a plate of veggies used to fill me up for a while. Now, i can eat a large salad and be hungrier when i was done then when i started. anyone else having this problem? and how did you help it? Just add something like chicken or lowfat cheese to it?

I would really like some input on this because I get like that too!0

eat fat with them. avocado, butter, coconut oil.
protein will help too.0 -
I would suggest maybe some chicken, tofu, steak, eggs, avacado, cheese, olive oil, or whatever to add some protein or healthy fats in there too.0

I've had that problem too in the past, so I've tried to balance out my veggies (specifically salads). I'll have a nice spinach salad, but I'll also include some blueberries, sliced avocado, maybe some grilled chicken, corn or peas, maybe some slivered almonds or a sprinkling of sliced mozzarella (not too much, but just enough). I don't use dressing because the avocado and fruit tend to create a juicy texture when you take a bite of everything together.
Anyway, my best suggestion would be (if you're interested) to eat those snacks or meals more balanced - some form of protein, carbs, good fat, fiber, etc. That'll help you feel more full, plus you'll be pulling in the good stuff you need for the day.0 -
What every one else said, plus, try and eat really slowly, savour every bite0

I agree with previous posts. You need more protein and fat in your salad in order for it to be a filling meal. It doesn't take much. Use lean meat, cheese or nuts to give you the protein/fat to stay full longer. Also, if you use dressing, just go ahead and use regular dressing and not fat-free (which is usually just loaded with sugar anyway). Just use the recommended serving amount or less if you can. Or dip your salad greens in the dressing.0
