An easy way to find healthy Restaurants near you

I rely on this every so often and its definitely helpful so I thought I'd share it... it gives a list of a lot of restaurants and gives you the healthiest options of what to order along with the nutrition facts. You can also search by zip code which is nice if you aren't sure where you should go or are in an area you aren't too familiar with.

Interesting site. Find a place to eat and use the nutritional info to plan your meal ahead of time and you'll go a long way toward staying within your daily goals. Gold Star for you for sharing. :)

It's nice but a lot of these places are chains, which usually aren't healthy to begin with.
But, the healthy meal recommendations is really handy.

    Healthy dining?

I was surprised to see The Kolache Factory show up on the list. Under options it says "8 Healthy Dining". I clicked on the link out of curiosity.

At the top of the list:

    Potato, Egg and Cheese Kolache
    350 cal
    14g fat
    840 mg sodium
    42g carbs

It does have 12g of protein, so it must be healthy. And it's a few calories less than a Milky Way candy bar - so if your looking for a better choice in a quick breakfast this is just the ticket. Geez.

Lol I like how they put Caesar Salad in the options... BUT NO DRESSING!

I suppose I'll just go with common sense: no fried/breaded, no creamy dips/sauces, light on the cheese, ask for no butter on anything, avoid complimentary bread and butter, skip dessert if possible
