I have never been but i have a date on Saturday afternoon and I'm a little worried because i am sure most if not all of the pasta dishes they have are full of calories.

I am vegetarian but other than that I'm open to trying new foods. Any suggestions for olive garden dishes that aren't over doing it on calories ?

I went to Olive Garden for lunch with my friend recently and I honestly thought that they had healthier foods on their menu than they do! I am also a vegetarian and I ended up getting the Minestrone soup and salad. I wasn't sure how "healthy" it was but it was the only thing I could find on the menu that looked somewhat healthy. You can get the menu online if that helps! here is the link -- http://www.olivegarden.com/Menu/ It also has a nutrition guide (I just discovered this!). http://www.olivegarden.com/Menu/Nutrition/ That should definitely help! :)

The lunch portion of Capellini Pomodoro is about 490 calories! Many vegetarian friendly lunch portions of pasta dishes are about 500 calories. You could do soup and salad- it's probably the healthiest option! It depends on what you have a taste for :)

Do you eat fish at all? there are some seafood dishes there that are within reason
Just be careful of the salad dressing as they put it on the salad...the garden salad alone one serving is 290 calories ...
they also have a few pasta dishes that are within reasonable calorie ranges ..

    good luck!
