I don't know if I'm supposed to drink them at a certain time or not. I drank one today and yesterday around4:30 and I'm feeling nauseous again. Has anyone felt sick from a shake and should I be drinking it at a certain time?
I really appreciate the help

I find the Odwalla protein shakes make me sick. Doesn't matter when I have them. It might be the type. Try something different.0

Think of them as food and drink them when it's appropriate to have that sort of food.
A lot of people drink them for breakfast or before and/or after exercise, but the meal replacement ones can be drunk for any meal and the snack ones can be drunk for any snack.
Are you lactose intolerant? I am, a bit, and some shakes give me the same symptoms as drinking too much milk. (Stomach cramps and gas and diarrhea) The ones with both whey and soy protein work better for me than the ones with only whey. I also can't have the ones you make with milk.0 -

No, I'm not lactose. The nausea goes away after a little while but it also makes me feel exhausted for awhile afterward too. It goes away though after an hour. It's strange.0 -
I actually get sick to my stomach also when drinking protein shakes. My hubby works out a lot and told me that my body is not used to that much protein at once. Maybe that is it. Just some amateur advice. Good luck!0

those are both signs of food allergy or reaction.
If I eat chocolate I get this same symptoms. ExHAUSTEd.........gotta go take a nap........lay down. It is incredible. But it is only certain chocolate so the doc said it is an ingredient in that I am reacting to.
My trainer said she can only drink 1 kind, all others make her sick.
