How long to wait to start training again - Bronchitis

Hey there
I have been outta gym 2 weeks with bronchitis, I still have a slight cough but nothing serious, so you guys think its ok for me to go back to gym now?! I dont wannna get sick again but I am itching to get back to gym!!!!

Has your doctor given you any reccomendations for time off? I dont know the extent of your illness but you should be ok as long as its just a slight cough.0

Nah he didnt, it really is a slight cough though AND I walked up 3 flights of stairs yesterday and wasnt winded (like I was when I was sick) Maybe just a light work out! I need to get moving again.0

Start off slow - don't go back and think you can do what you did before the illness. Start slow. Let your body adjust and see how you feel. If you get overly winded or dizzy - stop.
Basically, just listen to your body. It'll tell you what it can handle.

Absolutely get back in AND keep it light til you see how well your lungs tolerate it (no hour long Zumba class for you!). Yoga, light weights or resistance exercises, walking... all good ways to keep at it. Enjoy!0

Right ok so that was directed right at me! I wanted to go Zumba on Tuesday! Maybe I will give that another week0 -
I think what I will do is go back on Monday Still rest the weekend, maybe a light walk tomorrow.0
