we like to walk, explore different towns and villages here on the little Island we live on, or get off the Island and travel to the mainland and do the same. We like history. so look at old places, Cathedrals, Roman ruins and stuff, we also like looking round little shops. We take a picnic, walk and find a great place to sit to eat it. We also like to travel, last trip was to Canterbury,. but we had a few days in Paris, a few days in Venice, we like to camp also, so when we can finish early on a Friday and go for a couple of nights. Just think about things you both like to do maybe?0

Unfortunately we don't have an after work life. My hubby is a trucker and therefore up at the crack of sparrows so we have to be in bed by 9.00pm sharp.
Routine is a big thing in our house from Monday to Thursday -
Pick up my son from nursery
Meet husband on the doorstep
Oven on to preheat and cook little fella's dinner, trip over the cats
Wash up, feed the cats, do the kitty tray, wash hands of course
Dish up munchkin's dinner and set him at the table
Make a start on the sandwich boxes
See to Munchkin 'cos he's playing cars instead of eating
Carry on with lunch boxes
Mop up little fella's spills
Hubby hopefully finished in the shower so he can take over little fella duties.
Finish sandwich boxes, trip over the cats, whilst re-preheating the oven and getting dinner on the go
Get changed out of work clothes
Give little fella kisses nigh night and hugs
Cook dinner
Load the dish washer
Sit down to eat, and a bit of TV before popping off to bed
That's basically my life from Monday to Thursday.
However Wednesday is bin day and milkman day and Thursday is library book day for little man so there is slight variation!
We live for our weekends :0)0 -
We like walking - we often take a stroll round the village, or go to a nearby forest for a ramble. When our son is a bit older we'll probably take the push bikes out and travel a bit further.
Why not take a stroll round your local park. It's nice in the evenings as it's quieter and you are more likely to see rabbits and such :0) Walking is free, good for you and you can chat and catch up with each other at the same time.0 -
We have bikes we ride sometimes. We have a movie theater down the road that also serves meals, so we have plans to go there. If it's cool enough, we walk the dogs together. We definitely try to fit at least one date night a week in. It can be tough sometimes because we also have a pet sitting business and lots of times after dinner we have a couple of sets of pets to care for. But we do it together, so at least we have that time with each other.0

Walking around the city - I live in New Orleans so it's always fun and you always see different things
Trying out different restaurants, cafes, and bars
Working out together. We go to the big parks like City Park and Audubon Park a lot.
We go to the beach or out to the bayou occasionally on the weekends.
Random festivals and concerts.
Taking the dog to the dog park.0 -
Take a bike ride to a secluded place and have hot nature sex.
Hehe, really though, I'm fortunate to live in an area where there are a ton of outdoor recreational activities available that are free (for the most part). We like going to the beach, geocaching (geocaching.com, it's fun and gets you outside and walking), fishing, biking, etc...
ETA---Wait, I meant have hot sex in nature, not have hot sex with nature.0 -
Try joing a sports league together like volleyball or kickball. Something that you can have fun at but still be active. Riding bikes is always fun and you can see the prettiest parts of your city.0

Me and fiance don't really start our evenings till 7pm as he works in London and commutes everyday so doesn't get back till late so we don't really get out much during the week evenings, especially as the weather has been ATROCIUS here in england - raining almost every day!
However, when we get a little bored we may suggest a theme night. Eg. The other night we had a mexican night and made some 'skinny margarita' cocktails, and a vegetarian mince chilli (still trying to be healthish!) we also put on some mexican music and dressed up as if we were on holiday in mexico. It was really fun!
Last night we cooked a vegetable curry together and played some board games which was fun :-)0 -
After work? have dinner, chase toddler, watch tv/do chores... then perhaps have a beer and then sex...0

We go try new bars.
Hiking and exploring new trails.
Running.
Play video games together.
Go to the movies.
Walk around the mall.
Go out to eat sometimes.
Really laid back stuff! There's tons more we do but I can't think off the top of my head. I hope you two find something awesome to do!0 -
We go on rides together.... on the motorcycles of course. Once a week I call her at work and ask her out on a date! We have date night once a week where we go out to eat, or for frozen yogurt, or for an evening ride. It ain't about what we do, it is about being with each other and communicating!
Good luck, sometimes this can be a lot of work!0 -
We don't often go out, both of us work and are happy to get home and stay home.
One thing we like to do, I wait for her to fall asleep on the couch in front of the tv and then I draw on her face with magic markers!
She doesn't seem to think it's as hilarious as I do though.:laugh:0 -
Sex! Not only can you do it outside of the home, it burns calories too! ;-)0

A fire and a drink outside on the deck (or backkyard).0

Lots and lots of walks, playing with our dog/taking him on adventures, going to the gym or pool or some "fitness" variation, movies, tv, musical things -- my spouse plays everything and I try to be a bandmate , reading, coffee shops, restaurants, music/dancing, video games, home projects (we love renovations and such), and lots and lots (and lots, and lots) of sex.0

I've been married 29 years, today! and I still enjoy doing anything/everything with my husband Maybe that's b/c he works a lot and is gone overseas a lot- I'm always missing him!
Lot of good ideas out there except for the crude ahem, one.
We've always walked- first the babies, then the dog, now it's just us walking each other. We like going to an early movie on a Sat. (less crowded, less $) and then to lunch (we usually take our left overs for dinner).
We got into timeshares 25 plus years ago and (i dont' recommend it) that's been a lot of fun too.
Of course he's military so we've moved 13 times and have had 17 homes and have lived in 4 foreign countries and 8 states- boy that helped keep our marriage interesting!0 -
We ride bikes, weed or plant things in the garden, take a walk, watch movies/bad tv, make dinner together. We don't get out much on weekdays as far as socializing goes.0

My husband and I do that too! Cept we use Sharpie markers, cuz they're permanent.
We don't usually go anywhere...we play a lot of practical jokes on each other tho. Keeps things interesting.
He's Vaselined the bathroom doorknob so I couldn't get in, was pregnant and peed on myself.
He snuck home once and hid in the closet and called to breath perversely in my ear...
I wrote all over his chest all kinds of stuff...male "parts and diagrams and such, then ordered a pizza. You shoulda seen the pizza guys face..better, shoulda seen hubby face!
I painted his toenails when he was asleep ..bright pink. Didn't know it til he changed at work in front of the guys...
He had a bowl of peaches n asked if I wanted a bite. Said yes. Opened my mouth, took a huge bite...was nasty canned yams...0 -
We bike, hike, walk, run, canoe, kayak, raft, go to sporting events, concerts, hit the mall, go to the zoo, museums, beer tastings, cooking classes, wine tastings, drive go-karts, putt putt/mini golf, batting cages, arcades, bowling..... We do whatever (and we are on a budget so some things are chosen mainly because of the cost).0
