Need Feedback - I'm completely stalled. Again.

I've hit another wall. Over the past year, I've been working with two trainers on weight training and strength. I've added cardio, but up until now, probably wasn't doing enough cardio. That said, over the year I gained 10 pounds working out. I haven't lost any inches either. Maybe a half inch here or there.
I'm toned and I'm fit. BUT! I am still 30 pounds too heavy for my height and to be in a healthy BMI range. I'm retaining fat around my midsection despite ab work. I'm watching my diet and making wise choices and according to MFP, I should be losing. My trainers know about this and both say that it's stress and lack of sleep.
There's got to be something I'm missing. Please send tips to kickstart fat burning. I'm working really hard and have lost only two pounds in months. Are there any tips or habits that could be derailing me or is there anything that worked for you? I'm completely frustrated and want to keep myself motivated. I'm at a place where I'm considering cutting way back on responsibilities with work and community just so I can focus on my health/fitness, but as a workaholic, I'm also terrified of doing this too. What to do?
