Food substitutions

I am wondering what your best substitutions are for food. As in, what healthy version do you make now instead of the old food you used to cook. My fave is I use mashed up cauliflower instead of rice. So when I make curry and stuff like that, I just put it over cauliflower now because it kinda looks and acts like rice but with way less calories. I just boil or steam the cauliflower, then smash it with a fork.

Oh the mashed cauliflower sounds like such a great idea!
I'll have to try that some time.
I love the veggie burgers or Morningstar Crumbles make a great meat substitute for a low calorie taco!
I have been eating a lot of the same things actually, just more on portion control as I really just ate too much. More than my body actually needed.0 -
