okay so ive been moving for the last three days...i dont have an HRM yet, (ordered one got the wrong thing) anyway, we bought this house and it has to be totally painted and cleaned and all of our stuff is moved and packed in the garage so i put in for excersize that i moved for 40min each day, it says i burned about 269 calories, which is nice because ive been eating crap, but ive really not been moving so much as painting, and there is no excersize info for painting. but ive been pulling 10 hour days at this house, do you think 269 is too much to count? im sorry if this makes no sense, im so tired i can hardly see...

Hell yes moving is a work out.

We moved over the summer. It was two 16 hour days of moving in 100 degree heat. My brother and I then slammed 50 Wings at Hooter's and we were still hungry.

With the help of web sites like this one and a few others we figure we burned between 19,000 and 23,000 calories in two days.

I'm helping my son and his gf move so I checked around a bit. Every website says a little different but the average for an hour of painting is about 200cals. I guess if you climb up and down ladders all day it would be more. You can enter a new exercise, just like you can enter a new food.

thanks guys, its day four, ive only given myself credit for 40 min of moving each day so i think i should be safe in the overeating department, but man ive eaten a lot of crap and drank a whole lot of bud light too! is almost over, painting is done and tomorrow we move on to putting carpet down in the bedrooms and putting furniture in! im so friggin happy, i cant wait to soak in the tub and have a bbq in my humongous back yard, maybe i'll post some pics of our DIY!
