Hey MFP!
So I have lost my weight I wanted to and now I am starting to try and tone up. So I started going to the Gym and lifting doing alot of arms and chest and shoulders about 12 reps 2 sets. My question to anyone is I have been starting on dumbells approx. 25 lbs. I am not really feeling anything the next day or after....Should I be lifting more weight then???

I would suggest following a training plan. I have been doing New Rules of Lifting for Women, and it's a great resource. It groups exercises together to get better results than just going to the gym and doing some bicep curls.
I always use the most weight I can while still maintaining good form. It's super important to be able to do the exercise correctly. When it starts to feel easy, then I increase the weight.0
