Just wondering why when I add my strength training for the day, it doesn't count as burning any calories...any thoughts?

If you check the frequently asked questions section, it explains this. It is because there are to many variables in weight lifting, like the weight you are using, time in between reps, the intensity, etc.0

That was easy...thanks!!0

i WONDERED THE SAME THING....i THINK IT IS BECAUSE YOUR BUILDING MUSCLE ...AND YOUR HEART RATE DOESN'T GET UP LIKE W/ CARDIO!0

I log mine under circuit training in the cardio section.0

A heart rate monitor eliminates the guessing.0

I used this site for a rough estimate. I usually log closer to general (even though I do fairly intense training) to keep it safe.

You can also log it as strength training under cardio0

If you look up strength training under the cardio section it gives you an estimate, but there are too many things that factor in to figuring out the calories for it. I use my HRM when I lift to get my cals0

get a hear rate monitor WITH the strap for better accuracy0
