If i work out slower for longer or faster for a shorter amount of time?

I think it depends on what your goal is. For endurance, you would attempt to work out longer stretches, but for weight loss, I don't think it matters. I could be wrong, though.0

I saw a big difference when I started working out faster for a shorter period of time. For example, if I walk 2 miles at 5mph (24 minutes) my body responds quite differently than if I walk 2 miles at 2mph(60 minutes). Same distance, but one increases my heart rate for the duration of the workout and causes me to break a sweat, while the other does very little. Better than just sitting around I suppose though.0
