Boredom eating?

Forget comfort eating, boredom eating is my absolute enemy!
If i'm sat watching TV or doing coursework or something and soon as I get bored I want to eat to break up the time.
I can go a whole day without eating if I go to like a theme park or something.
But as soon as I have some spare time just to hang about the house, I'm stuffing on crisps and chocolate like it's the end of the world!
Is anyone else like this?
How do you beat it?

    Some suggestions.

    1) Keep a water bottle with you at all times. When you get the urge, take a drink of water.

    2) Get rid of the crisps and chocolate. If they aren't in your place, then you will remove the temptation to eat them.

    3) If the above isn't possible, buy gourmet chocolate and crisps. So, when you do eat them, you might eat less because the food cost more to replace.

    4) Replace the habit with something else. Read a book, take up a hobby, clean the house, exercise, etc.

The first one I have been doing! It does help a lot, thanks for the tip. I've been bad and moved onto Lilt though =S The bottles almost finished though and it's so sugary, I won't be buying it again XD
If I keep water in the fridge and the unhealthy stuff in the cupboards I will go for the water because I can't stand warm drinks. Haha that's what I tell myself anyway =D
I am managing to resist the urge at the moment with the crisps though. Mainly because they're manky crisps but if I don't go shopping no one will so hopefully there won't be any nice ones entering my house in the near future XD
Thanks for your help. I am more determined with the water now!
