how do foodies do it

Lets face it I'm a foodie. I love food, the taste, the textures, the colors. I love cooking it and I love eating it. But its causing me lot of problems. So how do other foodies do it? How do you manage to stay on track and still enjoy food. and not just eat diet or anything like that. I hate limiting myself to anything and I think that's part of my problem.

    I hear ya. I loooooove my food. My biggest aid is my goals. I have long term, and to get there I set short term goals... weekly goals. This has been helping lose an average of 1% body fat every week. I'm down about 5 inches and 16+ pounds. I still enjoy food. I just make smaller amounts and have learned to really expand my taste buds, and what seasonings I use. I try a lot of new things. I'm still new to this only been at it about 6 - 8 weeks now, so Im sure others have better advise but this is whats working for me.
