Take a look at my diary?

So here's my story:
I'm 27 years old, 6'3" 224lbs. I started on my diet/exercise plan on Monday and since then have been consistently losing a pound a day. According to my diary I'm not necessarily starving myself but this kind of weight loss seems abnormal to me. I'm never really hungry unless I'm for some reason forced to wait too long in between meals/snacks (doing 3 meals + 2 snacks a day).
My exercise is fairly minimal right now, mixing in some of my own strength training/cardio with the Power 90 program.
My diet before was absolutely terrible. I was drinking 3-6 sodas a day, eating all the candy I wanted, and had to of been in the 3,000-4,000 calorie a day/500-600g of sugar a day range. I have always had a high metabolism and never had a problem with weight but in the past 6 months or so I started really packing it on.
I've got a physical fitness test in 2-3 months so I'm trying to get back into shape (used to be a state champion swimmer) so I'm no stranger to workouts.
Can someone take a look at my diary and let me know if there is something I am missing out on here?
Thanks!
