Calories, Carbs, Protien, Fat, Sugar...

Just wondering... If you are on target for your calories do you pay much attention to the others. Today, I am right on track, but over on carbs, fat and sugar, but under on protein. I try to stay on track for all four, but if I eat much fruit or an avocado, or healthy starch it puts me over... I have my settings set to 40/30/30.
Any thoughts?

I am usually under my macros as long as I am under my calories so it works out. My problem is getting enough protein. I wrote down a list of foods I like that increase protein without increasing the others too much, so I'm hoping to improve that soon.0

I try to stay on track with all, but usally my sodium and sugar are over. Heres how I see it, before I was eatting double maybe TRIPPLE what Im eatting now. So yeah, I may be over on sugar, but I know alot of it is good sugar from fruits, and its a lot less than it would have been 4 months ago! Same with my salt, I know its lower than it was 4 months ago and Im ok with that. :]0

my sugar usually goes over, I love greek yogurt and have one like every day, same with bananas, and those two alone usually put me right to my limit. I mainly pay attention to calories and protein though.0

I just joined yesterday, but I LOVE this feature. My goal is to try and log my food almost immediately after I eat so that I can plan my next meal accordingly. If I find I am low on protein, then make the next meal a high protein meal etc.0

This is a do as I say, not as I do moment....
Fill in protein first, fat second then the rest of your cals with carbs. I try, and sometimes I fail miserably, but this is the recommended way to hit your macros.
However, your deficit rules all and where you get those cals from comes in second. Sounds like you're doing really well to me!0 -
Depends on the foods you eat. The other day, I was over my calorie intake, and under my protein and carb intake, because I was way over fat. 1 gram of protein equals 4 calories, 1 carbohydrate is 4 calories, while 1 gram of fat is 9 calories. Generally though, I try to watch my macros rather than my calorie intake. If I get my macros right, it should total around my daily calories.0

You're working towards losing weight, the above is good advice. After you lose a bit you look at those macros again.
No need to worry about complicating things.0 -
I pay attention to calories and protein, as long as I get enough protein, and stay near my calorie goal, the rest is taken care of.0
