Hello,
Been a member since last year, but just now starting to get active. Figured i would introduce myself. Im 25, work as a software engineer so i sit at a desk ALL DAY. One other issue is that I'm addicted to fast food Looking to lose about 10 lbs (mostly fat) and then i want to regain the weight (muscle). Easier said than done huh? Im also in the Army National Guard so that motivates me not to get fat. I ran Div I track and cross country so i love to run. If it wasn't for that... Id be Obese!! Message and/or add me ! Looking for like minded individuals!

Hey
I have been on here for about a year myself. My problem is that I start documenting my meals then I fall off. I have successfully lost 15 lbs however, I am looking to lose 10 to 15 more. I have found that being active and eating food within my max calorie intake helps me because I am addicted to eating out as well :-) Where ever you go, try to find that spot in your food menu and make a healthy choice :-)0 -
Thanks for the reply!.... for the most part i need to cut out drinking so much beer. Now i only drink water and diet drinks. Obviously there are exceptions to that. Also, as you mentioned... Im starting to look for the healthier choices on menus when i do go out to eat. This site somewhat helps me stay accountable. But usually (as u said) i will fall off on weekends ... smh I see you in Lithonia!! I used to date someone there!! LOL0

I joined in April of this year and log in every day (multiple times a day). Feel free to read my profile to get the full scoop about me and my personal goals. I high jumped and tripled jumped in high school, and keep up with my running now. My husband (on my friend's list too as jerky1280) is a pilot in the Coast Guard, and he ran track and cross country for the CG Academy (which is their college). I understand having a desk job and the military lifestyle, and I have about 15 pounds to go to hit my goal. On a side note, I see you are from GA on your profile. I am from Alabama and now live in Michigan.
As I said, take a look at my profile and feel free to add me. Otherwise, good luck!!
edit to add: my husband is the "serious" runner in this house. i log about 4 miles each run, and he smokes me on mileage each week.0 -
Thanks for the reply ! I was born and raised in alabama (Huntsville) . But yea, i run quite a bit.. just like you and your husband. I usually run 4-5 miles a day but sometimes more. Any more will bring back bad memories from college XC when we were doing 70-80 miles per week. LOL0
