Exercise Induced Anxiety

All throughout last year, I over-exercised, using exercise as a form of purging. I feel sick to my stomach just thinking about exercise now. People recommend just starting out with slow-paced walks around the neighborhood, but even then I feel anxious and sick. I can't tell you how many nights I've been unable to sleep in the past few months just because I knew I had to exercise the next day. (That includes tonight!) It's like the anxiety never goes away. When I finally fall asleep, the first thing I think about the next day is what time I have to exercise.. The longer I wait throughout the day, the more anxious I get.... Even when I follow through with it, the anxiety starts back up within minutes because I know I have to do it the next day and the next and the next. I feel beyond guilty if I don't exercise though... It's this constant battle between anxiety and guilt, and I don't know what to do.
Am I the only one experiencing this? I feel very alone and very silly for posting.
