Can anyone tell me if I cycling at a very light, light, or moderate pace if I am cyling at an average speed of 25mph on resistance level 1 of 6?

    Sounds like moderate to me. I cycle on the road at 14 mph.

    25mph? Even the best cyclist I know can't hold that pace for long. I think your setting on the bike you are using are out of calibration. Go by heartrate or perceived exertion. Only you can tell how hard you are working.

    Look up bicycling in the exercise database. 25mph is FAST!

    ahhh! Just realised that its kilometres not miles per hour on my bike, its an ancientold machine I use! so I am looking at 15.5ish mph as my average speed at resistance 1 of 6

    I was wondering...the guys in the TDF are riding in the mid 20s on the flats, just did not want to be rude.

    15 mph is still a moderate pace. When I ride with the team we aim for 18mph
