Question About Logging Workouts

When I log my workouts, my remaining calories increases. So am I supposed to increase my caloric intake by that much so that I reach 0? I'm really confused. Can someone help me?

I am just getting back into living a healthy lifestyle - exercising and eating right - and I want to make sure I am doing this correctly.
