NSV: coaching soccer

I accidentally opened my mouth and volunteered my husband for assistant soccer coach position for our 4 year old's team. He just had surgery 8 days ago, so I've been coaching until he recovers. I'm from Ukraine, so I've seen enough games of soccer to know the game, but never once did I feel compelled to join in, even when I was little. Not only that, but despite having lost the weight and being in much better shape for a while now, I am still shocked when I am not out of breath and can keep up.

Today, I coached for 90 minutes in punishing sun. I had sweat pouring off me in buckets, but I was not out of breath or energy. It felt great and was actually tons of fun. Hubby might not be getting the assistant coach job back. His coaching shirt is huge on me, but I'll deal

That sounds great! I love soccer , I wish we had a women's team here I'd definetly join.
