HRM vs Curves computer cals burned

Loving my HRM for Zumba but have a question with strength training. Each Curves strength training machine is computerized so it tracks muscle work/resistance as well as some of the cardio. That computer had my cals burned at over 350. My HRM had me at 236. Any thoughts on which would be more accurate?? HRM does heart rate but not muscle resistance so I am thinking the Curves would be the one to use but looking for input! Thanks!!

Curves is still 30 minutes? I'd be tempted to go with the HRM burn, despite that it doesn't track resistance well. I've read Curves workouts burn in the low 200s for most people, which sounds about right to me. The Curves machines have an incentive to exaggerate things.0

I would go with your HRM as well. Keep in mind that strength training keeps burning calories after you have stopped, so possibly the computer is adding in the calories you could potentially burn? Just a thought, but I have no basis behind that.0
