I read about these on the http://www.williams-sonoma.com/ site last night......and realized I had all of the things I'd need to create it myself..and went to bed excited to try it!! :)

here is what I did -

1 Sliced one store bought deli croissant (large) from my local grocery...

2 Lemon and lime zest & enough fresh juice to flavor.

3 Stirred juice/zest with 1/4 cup fat free ricotta in a small bowl.

4 Spread mixture on bottom half of croissant ..sprinkled with a tiny pinch of pink sea salt

5 Put the top half of croissant on my 'sandwich' and warmed in microwave for 30 seconds..

6 Sprinkled the tiniest bit of powdered sugar on top. :)

The sweet/tart/saltiness of this is to DIE for!! well not DIE for but enjoy!! a lot!!!

OH MAN it tastes so good!! I bet this would be good for a pot luck using crescent rolls baked with the mixture..then dusted with sugar.....wowzers!
