Hi everyone,

Well I have tried weight watchers program, lose it, atkins and now mfp.
I lost weight on the first 3, haven't tried this one yet. The calories seems way lower than loseit. Why is that?

Ok, I didn't stick with WW cause it's too time consuming to figure the points deal.
Loseit, I had success with and it's a great program. Logging gets tiresome, but I guess that is what I have to do.

Atkins I was on for 2 weeks for the induction phase. My sugar didn't go down it actually went up, so I stopped it. I also, got very tired of grilled chicken and salad and omelettes. I just can't eat life long like this, so I need to do something else.
I am going to give mfp a try.

any comments??

    Hi,

    I would really suggest you take the time to read and work out what calories you should be on using this thread;

    Its definitely worth the 'effort' of reading / doing what it suggests.

    Hi, Ive used MFP since the beginning of this year (although had a 2 month break through personal circumstances). I find it great as it is so easy to log what you are eating. A couple of things with the calorie intake per day, I was on 1200, and although this went well, i felt it wasnt quite enlugh especially when exercising more. Im now on 1400 and find this a lot better figure and note in programmes like Obese a year to save my life etc.. in most instances they are on 1400. I am back no and on a mission as I am more determind then ever to lose the weight. ive lost 28lbs to date and have another 50 ish to go. i find the more friends you have on here and also logging in daily certainly help. Good luck and please feel free to add me if you wish
