Changes need to be made....

Right I hit 40 at the end of this year and seem to be having a major mid life crisis as a result. Seriously need to get the weight off.....and have finally admitted to myself that I need to exercise too!

Today was my second day of 30DS - Level 1......I hurt!! I still need to lose around 100lb in total.....so far have lost 38lb. I know I won't be totally where I want to be by the 'big day' but I can be a darn sight closer than I am at the moment.

I've just managed to update my tracker with total weight loss todate rather than just since I joined MFP.....makes me feel straighter!

I recently had shoulder surgery, one shoulder operated on in January and not healing as well as I'd like the other was done in June and seems to be much better than the other one already but it does mean I have to be careful on the exercise front. Would really like to get back into yoga but not sure what I can and can't do, don't want to screw the shoulders up......I have to skip the push ups in 30DS and I do a modified version stood against the wall so I'm at least doing something.....any ideas would be welcome!

Ideally I need a free personal trainer who'll just tell me what to do and not cost me money.....think of the testimonial they could use when they make me fab...

Ooooh and if anyone can tell me how they log 30DS on here that would be handy.....I've kind of guessed and put it as 20mins circuit but have no clue if that's right or not?

    Hi,

I'm 24, female, 5'3.5 and burn around 150 calories doing 30 day shred.

Hope that helps - I wear a heart rate monitor to work this out.

Thanks....I wish it was on here as an exercise as its own right.......make my brain hurt less......
  • find a website that will calculate the calories burned per your exercise and create your own. then keep track on MFP.
