Just because I'm curious about what others do :)
Do you stop logging your food diary or quit your workouts when you are sick?
What other occasions cause you to have a lapse?

i log all the time even when i'm having an epic fail week, because i want to know exactly how what i eat affects me. if i gain, i want to know why. if i lose, same.

i'm working on exercising more even though i find it terribly hard. for me that makes more difference even than my calorie intake, because it makes a HUGE spike in my metabolism.

I'm planning on logging every day, rain or shine, vacation or work. If that means I log a day when I was 1000 calories over, fine. If I only ate crackers and broth, that's fine too. I want to keep track of what I'm eating, and figure out what works and what doesn't. I can't do that if I'm not honest with myself. I can always put in the Notes section for a day, "Had the flu, couldn't keep anything down," or "Patty's wedding, wonderful buffet and cake!!!"

If I don't have internet access, I'll still try to keep track, and log it when I can. If I can't find exact info, I look for the closest thing I can find, and tend to err on the side of picking the higher-calorie option so that I don't end up underestimating if I can help it.

I only will on vacation. Just because it's beyond hard for me to log all the weird little snacks and I have no idea what ingredients are in dinners made. Just no point lol. Otherwise I log like there is no tomorrow!

I don't see logging as something negative so I log every day no matter what I eat. There have been some days when I am too busy or just need a break from the entire diet/ exercise process but generally every day.

in the past, i would quit when i was sick and once i was off track, i stayed off track. this time around, i'm doing it no matter what. even with a major headache, which i figured imma have the headache whether i do my work out or not, so i did it. however, i havent had any big sickness yet, like a stomach bug or the flu, so we will see, but i've had lots of " i really don't feel like it" days, and i just make myself do it anyway

I log good & bad days because that is what it is there for, as for workouts, I will complete a rotation (P90X/RushFit) & then take a week or two off before I start again :) During rotation if I am sick or super tired I take a day off & don't beat myself up, I am not a masochist or perfectionist, I am someone looking to attain a better me by working out & eating SENSIBLY :)

I always log and if it is a mild cold or something I'll workout - right now I'm not working out because I have bronchitis, no it is not dying - It is just breathing is not too easy at the moment lol
