and made the mistake of not noting where it's shipping from (mind you, I was in a rush when ordering AND wanted this USB as soon as possible, so I ordered the first one that had a good rating on Amazon).

Turns out, it's shipping form Hong Kong and isn't due to arrive until mid-august :explode: AND to top it off, the "track package" option isn't working.

Do you prefer buying things online or in person?

I always buy stuff online.. But usually there are option to check if you want things that are only in the US. I did once order a thing from Hong Kong too, and it took about a month to come... which was not too bad, because I thought it might not come at all. But once I also ordered a charger from Apple and they sent it to me all the way from China, it took about a week, but it would of been faster just to go to the store.

If you shop a lot online, Amazon has a Prime account, so on some things you can get a free 2 day shipping. And there are deals on that, like for students.

So on Amazon or Ebay just make sure that the box for "Us only" is checked.

I get my best online deals from target, like clothes and shoes.. they have a lot of clearance, and if you open a credit card they give you free shipping and 5% off. I asked them and they opened it right away.. and now when ever I see something cute I just order it.. without having to pay anything for the shipping.. and If I dont like something I just take it back to the store. They have really nice deals there.. like $8-9 dresses and I just got a super nice swimsuit for $12. Which is awesome. Really happy about that. :)

I like to see/touch what I am buying first, so I buy most things in person.

Oh, there's a US only option? Haha, that's pretty useful! I'll be sure to do that next time, thanks.

And ah, I agree! I love target. There's one near my new job and I go there everyday, they have pretty much everything. I always get sucked into the Kitchen/Home department and music/books section. I could spend hours in there.
