High Heart Rate and Poison Ivy

So I had a really bad case poison ivy and stopped exercising while it was at its worst.

Almost done with the meds and getting back to proper exercising and raising my heart rate is aggravating the itchy spots so much and bringing them back up.

I really hope that raising the heart rate doesn't cause these things to stay around longer, I might lose interest in exercising if it does.

No real question here, just an excuse to gripe and distract myself from a Jillian based itch-a-thon

I'm very allergic to poison ivy/oak/sumac and know exactly what you are saying.... but I think it's the sweating that irritates it, or the getting hot from exercising. Either way, another couple days and you'll probably be back to normal. Try swimming if you have access to a pool... the chlorine will also help dry out the rash faster.

my last case of poison oak or sumac (not sure which it was) lasted 2 full weeks! I was miserable!
