I'm trying to understand these concepts. Does your TDEE factor in the calories that you burn from workouts everyday?

It does, yeah - based on what you claim you burn (if you say you work out 2x a week for 30 mins a time or whatever).
I ignore it, and eat about 1600cals a day no matter what I burn, but others eat back the exercise cals.
Both types lose weight, so it just depends on what works best for you.0 -
TDEE factors in everything. So, if you eat back your exercise calories, you won't get anywhere. I like to use my BMR as my goal and let my exercise create my calorie deficit.0
