Question - Quarter chicken weight and flavouring

Hi,
So for dinner tonight we are going to have these quarter chicken (thigh and leg) things from the butcher. The package has no nutrition information (it does have ingredients) and says that it is 800g. It is also flavoured and called Nicy Spicy (first ingredient is sugar, second is spices).
I am just wondering how to log this in food plan. I added 400g of "Generic - chicken leg quarter, roasted w/skin.
Would this already account for the bones in the chicken? would it be assuming 400g of chicken eaten, or 400g total weight of which only so much % is food.
Also any ideas on what to add for the flavouring as I assume it adds a decent amount of sugar and probably sodium.
Cheers

It says 750calories if I add 400g to of the generic quarter chicken. It seems like an insane amount? Is it assuming I am eating all 400g of it?0

That does seem like a really high amount for 1/4 chicken - the 400 g must be with the bones. If you have a food scale, weigh the bones etc. when you're done and use the net figure for the actual grams of chicken eaten.
Otherwise, there are other other 1/4 chicken foods in the database. If you don't have a scale, you might try using one of those.
Good luck!!0 -
Yeah one of the other ones which just has serving size as 1 quarter chicken says ~350 calories. I find it hard to believe that mine is double the size so I guess you must be meant to add just the eaten portion. May just use this one and do 1.2 serving or something as it is quite big0

MFP is probably counting the skin, so if you don't eat it ,and since you don't eat the bones either ( I hope), just log it as skinless and boneless. IMO.
For the seasoning, and since it has sugar, I would add about 50 additional (estimated) calories. Bon appetite!!0 -
Yeah maybe I could swap it for chicken thigh meat or something as I am gonna try buy some food scales today.
but i will definitely be eating the skin, its too damn good haha0
