Trying not to be a BBW Bridezilla.

Well, I don't know where to begin. So, I will just start at the beginning. I have always been that "BIG" girl with the cute face. I always would hear that "oh but you have such a pretty face". My family has told me that for years. I don't want to be that girl anymore.
My fiance and I met a year ago and it was like this instant connection we had. I don't know how to describe it. Just one of those moments when you know I guess that i wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. He has gained 60 pounds since we moved in together last year and I saw myself slowly creeping towards the heavier side of the scale again. He would try to diet and it felt like I was somehow sabotaging him every time he tried. I was the girl wanting ice cream and grabbing that candy bar in the checkout lane at the super Walmart. I know I don't need it, but somehow it still ended up in the cart.
We started a diet together a few weeks ago and he signed me up for the my fitness pal on my phone. I didn't take it too seriously at first until I really started using it. One day it clicked in my head when I saw how many calories i was taking in just eating that "normal" plate of food that I had been used to eating all of my life. Seeing how much I was over eating made a big difference in me. It's harder to cheat yourself when the numbers are right there in front of your face. No more saying Oh I will start my diet tomorrow or the next day for me anymore.
My fiance proposed in April and I have a little under a year to lose some of this weight before I become one of those dreaded BBW Bridezillas. You see the shows on TLC called say yes to the dress Big Bliss. I have decided that I don't want to be that BIg girl with the pretty face anymore. Wish me luck!

Good luck, I know you can do it! The best advice I can give is try to plan out your meals and log them ahead of time. It has helped me a LOT with staying on track with my eating, that way I know ahead of time that I won't be going over calories. If you want some extra support, feel free to add me!1

I think I am going to have to get better at planning my meals on the weekends. I do really good during the week packing my lunch for work, but it seems like I am eating out of boredom at home on the weekends. That's my worst struggle right now.0
