I found a similar topic from June 6, but it isn't quite what I was looking for, so I am creating this one. First, what my question is NOT: I don't care about appearances. I am concerned about body mechanics and physiology because of the structural differences between men and women.

What my question IS, is this: My wife has a couple of Pilates DVDs that are geared toward women. Would these DVDs be appropriate for men? I would like to use these for a 30 minute stretch workout every morning before I get my day started. I think it will be especially beneficial for a pre-run stretch. As a big guy, I hope the Pilates routines will help my flexibility and help prevent injury. What do you all think?

I don't see how it can hurt. Physiologically, we aren't that different anyway. FWIW, the Exhale Core Fusion series is taught by a couple, so clearly, there is no rule that says me cannot or should not do it.
