Hello. Well here I am yet again! I joined MFP last year and lost some weight, but then fell off the wagon and gained the weight back. I was so disappointed in myself and deleted my account. (to those terrific, encouraging pals I made- I'm so sorry!)
Anyway, I remain disappointed in myself for the weight I gained back and the continuous cycle of emotional eating must stop. Someone's post the other day really got my attention. The post referring to all the different, random items and the weight of each.
(Chihuahua- 5pounds, an average 2 year old - 25 pounds, etc) That put things in perspective. Oddly put, I need to lose a cinder block and a 2 year old. Or a microwave and an automobile tire. Totally disgusted with myself and ready to try again. I'm sick of not enjoying certain activities, not wearing the cute dresses and shorts I'd like to wear, etc. It's ON!!! This BAMA girl CAN be 44 years old, fit and fabulous!!

Welcome back! The one thing I thought when reading your post is that you should consider doing something that will allow you to forgive yourself and let go of the disappointment/frustration you're holding on to from past weigh loss attempts. It's important to have a positive focus and to realize that ups & downs are part of the processes. No one is perfect and most people gain some weight back at some point. The important thing is that you are back and (hopefully) re-dedicated to making the changes you want to make in your life. :drinker:0
