Hamstring & Biking

I cross train my running program for marathon training using a stationary indoor trainer for my bike. My problem is the more I ride - the more my hamstrings just scream from overuse. I only bike 2x per week, about an hour each time, I run 3x per week, about 30-35 miles total running. I also do Brazil Butt Lift about 30 minutes daily for hip strength. Stretching is not my problem, I stretch often, spend 2-3 times per week on just an intensive stretching routine.

It was suggested I adjust my seat - I've tried up and down .

Would a new seat help?

It's a mountain bike, Giant, with just the standard seat it came with. I ride to videos - one is intense interval day, other day is low tension, high rep riding. I really enjoy it and want to ride more - or at least DO both of my workouts. But the hamstring issue is something that has me concerned.

I also get regular massages, thai massage for stretching, I don't believe it's a hamstring strength or flexibility issues - really just overuse.

Any suggestiosn?
